Every Winner at The Horror Game Awards 2024, From Silent Hill 2 to Slay the Princess

With over 50,000 votes cast over an array of categories, The Horror Game Awards 2024 celebrated the best in the flourishing horror gaming genre, showcasing the creativity, innovation, and dedication of developers and creators from across the industry. Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team SA emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing the coveted Horror Game of the Year award along with honors for Best Soundtrack, Best Survival Horror, and multiple nominations in other categories. Luke Roberts was awarded Best Performance for his portrayal of James Sunderland in the game.

Indie developers also had their moment in the spotlight, with Chilla’s Art earning Best Indie Developer and Still Wakes the Deep by The Chinese Room winning both Best Indie Horror Game and Technical Achievement. Wrong Organ’s Mouthwashing captured multiple awards, including Best Narrative and the fan-voted Players’ Choice, highlighting the power of innovative storytelling in indie horror. Other notable winners included Slay the Princess – The Pristine Cut for Most Accessible Horror Game and Lethal Company for Best Multiplayer Horror Game. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Masahiro Ito, honoring his enduring contributions to the genre.
