Uncover the shocking tale of a fake brawl at the London Theater's 'Five Nights at Freddy’s' premiere!

Heading to the movies is usually a chill way to spend an evening. But attendees at the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ premiere in a London theater got more action than they bargained for.

Unexpected brawl breaks out in the Five Nights at Freddy’s’ Premiere

As the credits rolled to a close, the audience was jolted by a commotion. A full-blown brawl in the theater, captured and uploaded by X-User @jojoincel, quickly went viral.

The video, taken on the FNaF‘s premiere day, October 25th, clearly shows a group of attendees aggressively confronting another.

The cause for the clash wasn’t normal.

Some speculate a guy tried to snap unauthorized pics of the movie, while whispers pointed to a promo stunt by @Jacksepticeye. But the real story took a twist.

Not the first theater brawl this year – but the others were real

Strangely enough, 2023 seems to be the year of movie theater melees. A spat between two moms during a Barbie movie screening in Brazil made headlines. Similarly, ‘The Little Mermaid’ had its share of drama.

Blumhouse – aren’t these your new brand ambassadors?

The “brawl” was staged, and many savvy fans had already caught on, like X-USer @Zavallr:

@jojoincel, the clip’s originator, later admitted it was all for laughs. @Slippy00707790, another participant, echoed the sentiment, stating they did it just for kicks.

The prank clearly paid off: the original clip garnered a whopping 8 million views and became a sensation on social platforms. Even renowned movie site @DiscussingFilm hopped on the bandwagon, racking up a staggering 42.2 million views.

This has undoubtedly thrust ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s‘ into the limelight. A masterstroke by its creators, even if they didn’t anticipate the massive buzz it would generate. Maybe this ingenious move could land them a gig at Blumhouse Productions?

The buzz was unreal, and while some critics wrote off the stunt as a cheap PR gimmick, it’s undeniable that it gave the movie a monumental popularity boost. A film already in the spotlight for its content became the talk of the town due to a staged theater brawl.

Brilliant marketing move or just a well-played prank? Whatever’s behind it, ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ won’t be fading into obscurity anytime soon.
