Arnau Martínez (80 OVR – 87 POT)

Girona’s Arnau Martínez comes in as the top pick in our list with his already fantastic 80 OVR and his lofty 87 POT, putting him right up there with the world’s elite right from the start.

The Spaniard’s stand-out statistics are his 81 Acceleration, 81 Jumping, and 80 Crossing. Having a fullback who can under or overlap to create chances is incredibly valuable, and with his pace, Martínez could prove to be a key figure in your side.

La Masia graduate Arnau Martínez moved from the famed academy to the Hospitalet youth side before joining current club Girona on a free transfer. This season, the 20-year-old has made four appearances for Girona and provided one assist. He has also represented the Spanish U21 side on 11 occasions.

Gusto has some solid attributes to work with: 90 Sprint Speed and 86 Acceleration give him an edge in flying by the opposition, and his 85 Stamina means he can keep up that pace for the majority of the game.

The 20-year-old Frenchman began his career in the youth ranks of Olympique Lyonnais, breaking into the first team and attracting interest from Chelsea, who followed up said interest with a loan deal worth €30m, which was made permanent in June. This season, Gusto has made seven appearances for the Blues and created two assists. Gusto is part of the French national setup, representing the U21s on seven occasions and finding the net once.

Max Johnston (66 OVR – 84 POT)

The young Scotsman’s first club was Motherwell, where he made a couple of loan outings before peaking the interest of Austrian outfit Sturm Graz, who snapped the 19-year-old up on a free transfer. Johnston has made nine appearances for Die Schwoazn this season, providing two assists for his teammates. Johnston is also part of the Scottish national side setup, having earned four caps for the U21s and bagging himself one goal.

Kyriani Sabbe (64 OVR – 83 POT)
