Need for Speed Payback has been consistently updated with new content and ways to play. One of the most interesting of the new additions is finding an abandoned car in Need for Speed Payback. The goal of the update is to give players a fun way to unlock new cars and yet another reason to roam the streets of Fortune Valley.

The premise of abandoned cars in Need for Speed Payback
After the update, a rotating list of abandoned cars will periodically appear across the city map. As long as you are not participating in another activity, you are able to track down each vehicle as they spawn. The exact location will not be displayed until you are close enough for it to appear on the mini map. However, a countdown timer indicates whenever one of the abandoned cars in Need for Speed Payback has spawned.

How to acquire the abandoned cars in Need for Speed Payback
Once you find one of the abandoned cars in Need for Speed Payback, you will still need to earn the car. You will park your current vehicle and enter the abandoned car. This immediately triggers a massive alert, and the Fortune Valley police will rapidly descend upon you. The objective is to return each abandoned motor to Rav’s workshop over on the airstrip. Your buddy Rav will then prepare the new vehicle for permanent use in your garage.

Collecting every abandoned car in Need for Speed Payback
You are free to collect each of the twenty abandoned cars in Need for Speed Payback. To do so, you simply need to successfully bring one to Rav’s workshop and wait for the cooldown timer to reset. As this event takes place on EA’s servers, there is no determining the exact order each of these vehicles will spawn in your game now that all of them have been released.
