    The Best Graphics Settings to Improve Performance of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on Older PCs

    Steps to Optimize Graphics Settings for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on PC

    Open Settings > Graphics Settings menu

    Overall image quality
    Set this to Low to begin with. This will toggle all Advanced Graphics Settings to Low, which is a good starting point.

    Show FPS
    Toggle this On so that you can see effects of your changes. You’ll see FPS in the upper left-hand corner.

    VSync
    Keeping this On will prevent screen tearing when looking around at a low performance cost.

    Resolution Scaling
    Set Technology to FSR. This enables rendering at a lower resolution, increasing FPS.
    Set Mode to Performance to prioritize FPS.

    Camera Effects
    Setting Motion Blur to Camera caused a noticeable improvement in FPS.

    Go to Settings > Advanced Graphics Settings menu

    All parameters here should be start set to Low, as determined by Overall image quality setting in the previous step.

    Particles
    Set to Ultra. Changing this from Low did not adversely affect FPS in our tests.

    Lighting
    Set to Ultra. Icreasing this setting did not lower FPS for us.

    Postprocess quality
    Set to Ultra.

    Volumetric effects details
    Set to Ultra.

    Vegetation detail
    Set to Ultra.

    Character detail
    Set to Ultra.
