Playing with a friend on the same platform: Playing with your friends on the same platform is an easy-to-follow process needing only a few steps. You must first add your friends by opening the options and selecting the social tab before you can play Modern Warfare 2 on the same platform. The next step is to select the friend’s tab to access the list of users who own the game on the same platform. You can then choose who you want to play with by sending them an invite using the “Invite to party” button.
Playing with a friend on a different platform: To invite friends from another platform, you’ll have to go the extra mile of finding the person’s Activision ID.
