Catch Inteleon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Seven-Star Tera Raids and Level Up Your Team with These Tips

The water-type Pokémon Inteleon from the Galar region is making its debut in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Seven-Star Tera Raids, but it can only be caught once per save. However, defeating it in a raid can still earn you other rewards like Exp. Candy, Tera Shards, Bottle Caps, and treasure items to sell for money. But if you’re looking to catch Inteleon and add it to your collection, you’ll need to prepare your team for battle. Here are some tips on the best counters and builds to use against Inteleon in Tera Raids.

Inteleon comes with the Mightiest Mark badge and complete perfect IVs. The caught Inteleon also has its Hidden Ability, Sniper, which powers up its attack even further if it lands a critical hit. Defeating Inteleon in a raid also rewards you with TM143 (Blizzard) and a guaranteed Ability Patch for the first victory.

To take down Inteleon easily, there are several builds you can use, but the ones that we prefer are Inteleon Annihilape solo Tera Raid build, Inteleon Samurott Tera Raid build, and Inteleon Blissy Tera Raid build. Annihilape can handle Inteleon with moves like Screech, Rage Fist, and Drain Punch. Samurott is a good choice for the Inteleon battle with moves like Focus Power, Swords Dance, and Smart Strike. Blissey will use Sunny Day to mitigate the effect of snow and lower defense, while Flamethrower and Skill Swap will help deal damage and give Snipe to Samurott.

Remember that your Pokémon should be level 100 when bringing them into seven-star raids. You may be able to get away without perfectly EV or IV training them, but it’s recommended for easier knockouts.
