What was the Chipotle Roblox Event?

Who would ever have thought that Chipotle and the Roblox gaming platform would come together to make something amazing? However, that’s exactly what happened in April 2022 during the Chipotle Roblox event. While this was a limited-time event that is no longer a thing, it’s worth exploring since the game, Chipotle Burrito Builder, still exists. That being the case, here is everything you need to know about the Chipotle Roblox event and if there will be another one.

Free burritos for a year

On September 30, 2021, Chipotle released a Roblox game called Chipotle Burrito Builder.

The following year they ran a contest from April 7 to April 11 using this game. Basically, the goal was to play the game and be among the top five players on the leaderboard who would win free burritos for a year from Chipotle in real life.

While this sounds like a tough goal to achieve since there are so many Roblox players, there were other prizes that you could earn. For example, playing the game earns you Burrito Bucks which can be used to get a free burrito code. You can also use other codes for real-life rewards, such as one that would give you a free side or Queso Blanco topping.

Will the Chipotle Roblox event return?

This is a hard question to answer, but it is possible. Chipotle did have another event that ran from September 13 to 14 in 2022, so there is hope that they may have a 2023 event. The prize for that event was a Garlic Guajillo Steak burrito, not free burritos for a year like the previous event. With this in mind, it’s reasonable to assume that there may not be another unlimited burrito prize.

Other Chipotle Roblox projects

In addition to Burrito Builder, there are many other Chipotle-themed games on Roblox including Chipotle Boorito Maze, Chipotle Tycoon, and Ching Chipotle. It should be mentioned that these are not official Chipotle games. Even so, the official Chipotle Burrito Builder does endorse Chipotle Boorito Maze and even lets you teleport directly to the game.

As for the Chipotle Burrito Builder game itself, it only has a 66 percent like rating. Even so, it does tend to have a number of active players at any given time so it isn’t completely dead. As of this writing, it was last updated on January 13, 2023, so it also hasn’t been abandoned by the developers either. If you always wanted to make burritos without getting paid, give it a try, or you could wait and see if they have another event if you just want free food.
