Cyberpunk 2077 promised players a vast amount of character customization options, and on this,s they absolutely delivered. There are many different ways that players can approach combat, but you’ll need the best Street Brawler Perks if you’re looking for an up-close melee battle.
In working your way through Cyberpunk 2077, you may dabble in various types of combat, and as such, you might want to snag Perks in a few different areas to temporarily boost the style that you’re using at that time. Some players may prefer to stick to stealth or a ranged gun-heavy style, but if you prefer brute force, that’s there for you too.
In melee combat, you’re generally going to be using Blades or Blunt weapons – the latter of which is particular to Street Brawler. It’s important to note that, for Street Brawler, anything that refers to ‘Blunt weapons’ will also apply to fists, Gorilla Arms, and Monowire.
What are Perks in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 breaks things down for each character with five Attributes and each of those has one or two particular Skills that come with a vast array of Perks. Some of these Skills are combat-focused, while others like Crafting tend to be key regardless of how you’re playing.
As you progress through the game, every time you level up you’ll earn an Attribute Point and a Perk Point. The former can be used to increase your core Attributes, each of which has its own benefits but these total scores also help unlock the game’s best Perks.
Each Skill has several Perks to choose from, and the best of them have an Attribute Requirement which keeps them out of reach if you’re lower level. However, some of those higher level Perks can be powerful and make the investment worthwhile.
How to unlock Street Brawler Perks in Cyberpunk 2077

In order to access and utilize the best Street Brawler Perks in Cyberpunk 2077, you’re going to have to spend Perk Points. While you’ll always earn one when your character levels up, that’s fortunately not the only way to acquire Perk Points.
As you utilize the game’s various Skills, each will improve and at various Skill Levels you’ll be awarded a new Perk Point. This can make it very worthwhile to try out different styles of play just to upgrade other Skills and earn the corresponding Perk Points.
Fortunately, Perk Points earned by increasing the Skill Level of a specific Skill can be used for any Perks, not just ones for that particular Skill. For Street Brawler, there are two main ways to increase your Skill Level and earn Perk Points as it increases.
The first, and most obvious, is by damaging enemies with Blunt weapons, your fists, Gorilla Arms, or Monowire. You can also increase Street Brawler by damaging enemies with the Superhero Landing while Berserk is active.
Best Street Brawler Perks in Cyberpunk 2077
As you continue to play Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll start to realize that there aren’t really any completely worthless Perks in the game. Even less common Perks can be a good choice if they fit the way you choose to play the game, but some stand out from the pack as better than the rest.
All of the Street Brawler Perks available in Cyberpunk 2077 are particular to melee combat with Blunt weapons, so they’re going to lose their usefulness if that’s a type of combat you aren’t really embracing. However, it can be handy to have a good non-lethal option for some missions, and Blunt weapons are the most reliable way to do that.
Regardless of why you decide to try out Street Brawler, there are four Street Brawler Perks that stand out as S-Grade and are a must-have for every player that uses Blunt weapons. There’s also one that garners A-Grade and makes this list that is worth the investment you’ll have to make to acquire it.
Flurry S-Grade Street Brawler Perk

One of the things that can make Blunt weapons so effective in close quarters isn’t just the damage you’re delivering, but the speed at which you’re doing so. Some of the highest damage-per-second weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 are baseball bats or other Blunt weapons, and that’s because you can unload so many hits in quick succession.
Flurry is there to make the most of those successive combo strikes by increasing the core damage of combo attacks. With no Attribute Requirement, anyone can drop three Perk Points in Flurry and massively empower their combo attacks with Blunt weapons to deal 50% more damage.
Rush S-Grade Street Brawler Perk

If you’re using Blunt weapons in close quarters frequently, Rush is an absolute must-have. The downfall to close quarters combat is that you’re inevitably going to take damage from nearby enemies, but Rush can significantly mitigate that by allowing you to recover health every two seconds for any successful attack with a Blunt weapon.
This can empower a “stick and move” kind of combat, where you can deliver a few blows and retreat out of the fray to let your health recover before diving back in. That 3% or 5% recovery can make all the difference at times, so this one is more than worth it.
Efficient Blows S-Grade Street Brawler Perk

The biggest thing that will interfere with your ability to unleash a constant barrage of melee strikes on enemies with Blunt weapons is your character’s stamina. If you fully deplete your stamina it won’t just slow down your attacks, but it slows your walking speed as well.
This can be a major hassle if you’re trying to slip away for a second to recover some health or avoid injury, but Efficient Blows is able to majorly reduce the stamina cost of using Blunt weapons. With just a few Perk Points, you’ll find your character is able to deliver significantly more Blunt weapon attacks before your stamina is depleted.
Payback S-Grade Street Brawler Perk

As mentioned before, you’re going to take some damage with a bull-rush style. That’s just the nature of Blunt weapons. Where Rush helps mitigate this by recovering your health, Payback instead weaponizes the very damage you’re receiving.
For every 1% of health your character is missing, the damage you deal with Blunt weapons is increased by either 1%, 2%, or 3% depending on how many Perk Points you invest in Payback. Those numbers might seem small at a glance, but it can make you exponentially more dangerous at some of the most crucial moments when you need that extra power to finish a combat before you flatline.
Unshakable A-Grade Street Brawler Perk

Lastly, we have the one A-Grade Street Brawler Perk for Cyberpunk 2077. Despite the benefits of Unshakable, it’s hard to argue it’s S-Grade with the massive 18 Body required to access this particular Perk. However, if you do meet the Attribute Requirement, it pays off big time.
If you’re using Blunt weapons frequently, you’re going to stun your enemies fairly often. Unshakable takes those moments and maximizes them, restoring both your health and stamina when you successfully attack stunned enemies with Blunt weapons. This only triggers once every five seconds, but with three tiers you can make that restoration a full 15%, making Unshakable a huge asset for late-game combat.
All Street Brawler Perks in Cyberpunk 2077

The following table will outline every single Street Brawler Perk available in Cyberpunk 2077. On top of each Perk’s name and description, the table indicates the Attribute Requirement to have access to the Perk and how many tiers it has.
If you invest more than one Perk Point into a particular Perk, it can increase the bonuses provided by it, such as moving from a 30% bonus to a 40% bonus. As mentioned above, each Perk is also given a grade: S-Grade (must-have for all players), A-Grade (worth the investment), or B-Grade (only if it fits your playstyle).
