Diablo Immortal’s Wizard class has a combat system consisting of spell-casting and ranged attacks. - Scorch: Launch a flaming orb that deals 835 damage and knocks away enemies, leaving a burning trail that deals 720 over six seconds. Cooldown: 9 seconds
- Arcane Wind: Unleash a blast of wind in a direction, dealing 1,021 damage and knocking away enemies. Charging longer increases range, knock away distance, and damage up to 1,361. Deals 50 percent increased damage to Burning enemies. Cooldown: 9 seconds
Legendary Items

- Starcallers’ Breeches: Legendary leg equipment for Wizards. Meteor now continually damages enemies in the area, but no longer stuns.
- Starcallers’ Drapery: Legendary chest equipment for Wizards. Meteor radius increased by 20 percent.
- Devastation: Legendary main hand equipment for Wizards. Arcane Wind now summons a tornado that damages enemies in a line, and no longer charges up. Increases Arcane Wind’s maximum charges to two.
- Unrepentant Gale: Legendary off-hand equipment for Wizards. Arcane Wind charges increased by one.
Legendary Gems

- Blood-Soaked Jade: Increases Resonance by 30; +18 Combat rating; increases all damage you deal by up to eight percent and your Movement Speed by ten percent, with less damage bonus the lower your Life, to a minimum of four percent.
- Howler’s Call: Increases Resonance by 30; +18 Combat Rating; your Primary Attack has a ten percent chance to summon a charging spirit wolf that inflicts 150 percent base damage + 1458 to all enemies in its path. Cannot occur more often than once every 20 seconds.
- Power & Command: Increases Resonance by 30; +12 Combat Rating; Power and Command alternates states every nine seconds. Power increases your Primary Attack damage by eight percent; Command increases all other skill damage by eight percent.
- Bloody Reach: Increases Resonance by 30; +12 Combat Rating; increases all damage you deal by two percent for every two yards between you and the enemy hit; a maximum increase of eight percent at eight yards.
- Chained Death: Increases Resonance by 15; +8 Combat Rating; increases damage done by your attacks by 1.50 percent per target hit, up to a maximum of 4.5 percent with three targets.
- Berserker’s Eye: Increases Resonance by 15; +8 Combat Rating; increases all damage you deal by 5.50 percent, but also increases all damage you take by six percent.
Use Meteor and Scorch to inflict Burn on a large number of enemies, and then use Arcane Wind to ignite a Firestorm that causes bonus damage. These will be more effective when paired with specific Legendary Items and Sets that strengthen those skills.
The Burning Wind build is great against bosses as well as large groups of enemies. Firestorm covers a large area and is easy to aim. It is a great build to equip when entering difficult dungeons and elder rift challenges.
2. Prismatic Crystal Wizard Build

Core Legendary Gem: Seeping Bile
Core Set: Grace of the Flagellant
Core Skills

- Ice Crystal: Conjure a giant ice crystal at a nearby location, where it will deal 1744 damage to all nearby enemies over 12 seconds and inflict 30 percent Chill. When the crystal expires, it will shatter for 831 damage to all nearby enemies and inflict 80 percent Chill for six seconds. Activate again to shatter the crystal immediately. Beams of energy striking the crystal will be refracted and strike multiple nearby targets for reduced damage (Crystalline Refraction). Cooldown: 30 seconds
- Disintegrate: Channel a beam of pure energy in a direction, continually dealing 490 damage to all enemies caught in the beam and causing them to take two percent increased damage for 1.5 seconds, stacking up to five times. Using Disintegrate slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while Disintegrate is not in use. Cooldown: 0.5 seconds
- Ray of Frost: Channel a beam of frost in a direction, continually dealing 453 damage to all enemies caught in the beam and inflicting 12 percent Chill for 1.5 to four seconds, stacking up to six times. Using Ray of Frost slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while Ray of Frost is not in use. Cooldown: 0.5 seconds

- Frostreaver’s Garments: Legendary chest equipment for Wizards. Ice Crystal now summons a freezing crystal that inflicts greater damage over time and a stacking Chill.
- Searing Judgment: Legendary shoulder equipment for Wizards. Disintegrate now channels Fire, Burning enemies for additional damage over time.
- Chaos Nexus: Legendary leg equipment for Wizards. Disintegrate channels up to three additional beams at nearby enemies, each continually dealing 102 damage.
- Entropic Edge: Legendary main hand equipment for Wizards. Disintegrate damage increased by ten percent.

- Seeping Bile: Increases Resonance by 30; +18 Combat Rating; your attacks have a four percent chance to poison enemies, inflicting 25 percent base damage + 263 every second over six seconds; the poison spreads to nearby enemies if the victim dies, but cannot affect the same target more often than once every 20 seconds.
- Zwenson’s Haunting: Increases Resonance by 30; +18 Combat Rating; when you defeat an enemy, summons a dark beast to attack nearby enemies, dealing 50 percent base damage + 486 to all nearby enemies; cannot occur more often than once every six seconds.
- Fervent Fang: Increases Resonance by 30; +12 Combat Rating; each time you deal damage to an enemy, that enemy now takes 0.80 percent damage increase from your attacks, up to a maximum increase of eight percent at ten stacks.
- Bloody Reach: Increases Resonance by 30; +12 Combat Rating; increases all damage you deal by two percent for every two yards between you and the enemy hit; maximum increase of eight percent at eight yards.
- Trickshot Gem: Increases Resonance by 15; +8 Combat Rating; your Channeled skills consume energy eight percent slower.

Use Ice Crystal to Chill approaching enemies, then use Crystalline Refraction to strike as many enemies with Disintegrate and Ray of Frost. These are more effective when paired with specific Legendary Items and Sets that strengthen those skills.
Prismatic Crystal is a great build against large groups of strong enemies. This build gives you the ability to slow down enemies while using your other two skill attacks to inflict maximum damage. This is very useful with bosses that spawn powerful monsters during the fight. Slow down the monsters around the boss so you can have a chance of inflicting critical damage without being attacked from everywhere.
3. Ruthless Control Wizard Build

- Black Hole: Conjure a black hole for three seconds at a location, which will pull in all nearby enemies and deal 906 damage over three seconds. Cooldown: 20 seconds
- Ray of Frost: Channel a beam of frost in a direction, continually dealing 453 damage to all enemies caught in the beam and inflicting 12 percent Chill for 1.5 to four seconds, stacking up to six times. Using Ray of Frost slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while Ray of Frost is not in use. Cooldown: 0.5 seconds

- Phoenix Ashes: Increases Resonance by 30; +18 Combat Rating; prevents fatal damage, and then grants a shield for six seconds that absorbs damage equal to 450 percent of your base damage; cannot occur more often than once every 180 seconds.
- Unity Crystal: Increases Resonance by 30; +12 Combat Rating; you and all party members take 0.50 percent reduced damage per additional party member within six yards of you.
- Battleguard: Increases Resonance by 30; +12 Combat Rating; decreases all melee damage you take by eight percent from enemies within three yards.
- Pain of Subjugation: Increases Resonance by 15; +8 Combat Rating; you deal 5.50 percent increased damage to enemies suffering loss of control.

Relentless attacks with Black Hole gravity, Ray of Frost freezes, and Meteor stuns keep enemies controlled and unable to fight. These are more effective when paired with specific Legendary Items and Sets that strengthen those skills.
Ruthless Control is a great build for one-on-one fighting. Black Hole attacks are modified to create distance and expose the enemy to other skill attacks. Some monsters and bosses inflict heavy damage per hit so it is helpful to have a build in your arsenal specifically for these fights.
