Farming Simulator 22 has lots of complex equipment on offer for players, and one area of equipment is that of seeders. Seeders are a vital part of your farming experience in Farm Sim 22. As the name suggests, they are used to plant the seeds for your crops.
There are plenty of seeders to choose from in Farm Sim 22, so let’s take a look at the best ones for you to use in the game.
1. Vaderstad Rapid A 800S

The Rapid A 800S is when seeders start to get into the big leagues. Ironically, the one following it on this list somehow has more capacity, and yet it costs less! The 800S, though, is a great all-around seeder that looks quite menacing and is perfect for the average field in Farm Sim 22. A 240 hp tractor is going to be needed to haul it around, but this seeder is one that is very much a proven quantity and one that won’t take up too much storage space on your farm.
2. Kuhn Espro 6000 RC

The next two seeders have a nice advantage: they can also carry fertiliser in them. The Espro 6000 RC is a very good seeder for those with a relatively mid-sized farm. It’s a lot bigger than some of the seeders that you are likely to start with, and whilst it requires a 270 hp tractor to pull, it’s worth the investment. It can hold up to 5,500 litres of fertiliser and will allow for a maximum seeding speed of 17 kph, which is fine to get the field done in good time. This seeder will probably serve the average player very well indeed.
3. Amazone Citan 15001-C

The Citan is the only one that you should consider buying if you plan on having quite a large field. This seeder carries a whopping 7080 litres of fertiliser and needs a beefy 300 hp tractor to be able to pull it. Still, this seeder has an advantage over a lot of the others, which is the reason why it’s the top of the range seeder. If you have a large contract job that requires a big field to have seeds planted, this is the ideal one to lease to get the job done as quickly as possible.
4. Kuhn HJR 6040 RCS + BTFR 6030

The Kuhn HJR can’t hold any fertiliser, but it’s perhaps the best mid-size seeder for those on a farm with smaller and more medium-sized fields. Sometimes, having a smaller farm is more enjoyable as each job takes less time, and everything feels a bit more personal. Coming in at €67,500, this is not a bad choice for your seeder in Farm Sim 22 at all.
5. Lemken Solitar 12

Finally, we come on to the Solitair 12. This might be the best looking of all of the seeders in Farm Sim 22 thanks to its deep blue – but looks don’t really matter that much. That said, this seeder can hold 5800 litres of fertiliser and only needs a tractor with 180 hp: most players will probably have a tractor with that level of power at a minimum. A 15 kph seeding speed is a bit more sedate, but that’s not a bad thing. The Lemken Solitar 12 will probably find its way onto many farms.
What to look for in the best seeders on Farm Sim 22
First things first, there are some seeders that are a bit more specialised than others. There might be some that don’t allow you to plant the seeds that you want, such as when it comes to potatoes. Furthermore, you’ll need to watch out for the cost of the seeders, as the best seeders in Farm Sim 22 can be very expensive.
How much should you spend on the best Farm Sim 22 seeders?
Going off of seeders that aren’t as specialised, you probably won’t want to spend beyond €165,000. This is mostly because as they get bigger, you will need a more powerful tractor to pull them. Then there’s also the chance that you may also simply outgrow your field. Some of the best mid-range seeders are within the €100,000 to €165,000 bracket, so this is probably the area on which to concentrate.
These are the best seeders that you can get your hands on in Farming Simulator 22. However, when shopping for a new seeder, be sure to shop around. Whilst we feel that these are the best, there is a vast array available, so some others out there might suit you better than these.
