On November 8th, a tweet by Rockstar Games hinted that the new Grand Theft Auto 6 might be coming soon, stirring excitement among the fanbase. Everyone had one wish: to see Jason and Lucia as protagonists.

The GTA6 trailer, the incarnation of the popular Vice-City saga, has made a huge impact! Within 48 hours, it was clicked almost 120 million times. What pleases GTA fans the most: Rockstar Games once again features Lucia and Jason as the main characters in the new game.
What to expect from GTA 6
The plot has not yet been fully revealed, but the trailer shows this snippet: After Lucia is released from prison, she reunites with Jason to wreak havoc in Vice City in a Bonnie-and-Clyde style. 🎮
In the latest installment of Grand Theft Auto, GTA 6, the setting of Vice City has evolved from its previous depiction in GTA 5. Inspired by the coastal city of Miami, Vice City now blends modern elements with nostalgic touches from past decades. The game presents a mix of contemporary technology like smartphones alongside 1980s-inspired vehicle designs featuring angular shapes, bold colors, and distinctive features such as large air intakes and prominent spoilers.
Cultural references span various eras, with DJanes playing in houses adorned with 60s pop-art, and a character reminiscent of Hunter S. Thompson, the American writer known for his 1960s story about the Hells Angels motorcycle club.
The game also incorporates elements from the 70s and 80s, including imagery of Frank Zappa. The title track, is a 1989’s hit: Love is A Long Road from Tom Petty. The whole game is creating a layered journey through time.
Game Plot
Once again, a gangster romance unfolds in Vice City between the two playable characters Lucia and Jason. Once again, fans can look forward to heist scenarios and nights in run-down motels.
How will the story develop? The trailer has led to a variety of theories among fans. Some are even speculating that Lucia’s story could be told in reverse order, which would be an interesting twist. 🔄
Will Jason help get Lucia out of jail?
Another rumor says that Jason would be an undercover cop this time. This theory would explain why Lucia is suddenly released from prison when she is seen in jail in the first sequences of the trailer.
It’s possible that Jason is negotiating Lucia’s release in exchange for being an undercover cop. That would make sense.
Release details
So far, many details remain unclear. For example, on which platforms the game will be available to play. Currently, only Xbox and PlayStation have been confirmed, but not PC play. The shot in which an airplane pulls a banner with the words NINE-T-NINE on it also remains unanswered. We don’t know if it’s a band that will play a special role in GTA6 or if the hint is about another detail.
Will a biker from ‘The Lost MC’ gang really turn into a cop? The answer remains to be seen. The game won’t be released until 2025, so fans have a whole year to speculate until then.
