Luckily, you can expand how many items your Satchel holds quite easily, but it certainly costs to do so. To help you carry more items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, here’s what you need to know to get more bag space.

How to expand your bag in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

To carry more items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you need to:

Defeat the Alpha Kricketune and report to Kamado;
Head to the exit of Galaxy Hall;
On the first floor, talk to Bagin, by the staircase;
Select ‘Teach Me’ when asked if you want to expand your bag and pay the price.

Every time that you get Bagin to increase the carrying capacity of your Satchel, you’ll gain one more item slot, and it’ll cost you more than last time.

It’s certainly worth getting more bag space early in the game, particularly at the point that you first meet Bagin. As you embark on the next part of the story, you’ll discover several new items that’ll quickly fill up your bag space.

It’s also wise to make a habit of putting items in the item trunk in your house in the Village. Always carry items like Poké Balls, Potions, and Revives, and their crafting materials, but store stuff like the niche berries and materials that you likely won’t use in the wild.

You can get many more item slots for your bag in Legends Arceus, but the cost per upgrade increases significantly each time. Here’s how much it costs to get more bag space with each Satchel upgrade:
