UEFA Champions League RTTK Upgrades FIFA 23

The UEFA Champions League is undoubtedly the biggest draw in European football as the prestigious competition features the very best teams and players.

FIFA 23 is set to be right in the midst of the action as the second season of the Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) edition offers a maximum of two upgrades during the European campaign.

The RTTK cards in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team follow Ones to Watch and act as dynamic player items that are upgraded based on their team’s real-world performance in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League.

However, this article will focus on the dynamic FUT items for players whose teams are competing in the Champions League. The RTTK upgrades FIFA 23 can only be activated in two ways:

• Wins: The player’s team wins at least two of their next three group stage games.
• Qualifications: The player’s team seals passage into the knockout rounds of the UCL.

The first Wins upgrade in FIFA 23 rewards the players whose team earned two wins in the first three group games while the Qualification upgrades go live at the conclusion of the group stages.

Although RTTK players do not need to feature in the games for them to receive an upgrade, Champions League players who saw their teams drop down to the Europa League will not receive the Qualification upgrade.

Thomas Lemar: Atletico Madrid, OUT, Matches Remaining: 0, Wins: 0

Raphinha: Barcelona, OUT, Matches Remaining: 0, Wins: 1

Thomas Muller: Bayern Munich, Qualified, Matches Remaining: 0, Wins: 3
