AEW Fight Forever Release Date Finally Confirmed (Physical Edition Pre-Order Live)

    AEW Fight Forever Release Date

First announced as an untitled AEW Console Game in late 2020, over two years later, the arrival of AEW Fight Forever is finally getting close. Speculations ran rampant in that time, but the official AEW Fight Forever release date is set to June 29, 2023. While earlier projections put the game out sooner, the good news for fans is that they’ve clearly not rushed development.

As of now, AEW Fight Forever is expected to be a standalone title with the potential for future updates and not necessarily an annual franchise like the WWE 2K series. AEW CEO Tony Khan said in the official press release that AEW Fight Forever will deliver “a fresh and much-needed alternative next-gen console wrestling game” to fans.

While set for next-gen platforms, AEW Fight Forever will also be releasing on past gen consoles and isn’t currently expected to gate any features to specific platforms. AEW Fight Forever will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch

Notably, this will be the first major wrestling title to hit Nintendo Switch since WWE 2K Battlegrounds in 2020. The smaller independent title RetroMania Wrestling hit the platform in 2021, but this will be the biggest release for Switch players in quite some time.

You can pre order the physical standard edition of AEW Fight Forever today through the THQ Nordic website, and digitally through your console. Fight Forever’s Elite Edition includes access to all packs and DLC wrestlers, like Matt Hardy and FTR.
