Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has a set of old and new weapons, attachment, and field upgrades to choose from. The goal is to maximize your weapons and to cover up any deficiency that comes from weapon choice. Snipers lack mobility and handling, so you need to have a secondary weapon to switch up for close combat as well as hiding your radar signature as you will be a sitting duck while camping.
Here is COD MW2 best sniper loadout.

Primary Weapon – MCPR-300

Muzzle: FTAC Reaper
Barrel: 22″ OMX-456
Stock: Cronen LW-88 Stock
Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
Ammunition: .300 Mag Overpressured +P
The MCPR – 300 is a great sniper rifle out of the box. The correct attachments added to it makes it even more deadly. Damage, Range, and Accuracy come close to maxed out if you use the attachments recommended above. Eventually, as you unlock weapon levels you will find the perfect combination for your playstyle.
Secondary Weapon – X13 Auto

Muzzle: FT Steel Fire
Barrel: XRK Sidewinder-6 Slide
Ammunition: 9mm Hollow Point
Magazine: 50 Round Drum
Rear Grip: Akimbo X13
The X13 Auto is a monster pistol as its fully automatic capabilities makes it similar to a submachine gun with increased mobility. One of the best attachments that is only reserved for the pistol weapon category is the Akimbo grip attachment. Akimbo allows you to hold two X13 pistols and adding the 50 round drum attachment will have you wreaking havoc in multiplayer.
Tactical Equipment – Decoy Grenade

Counter intel grenade simulates gunfire, movement and radar signatures to confuse the enemy. It is great to use with a sniper as you can lure enemies towards you while camping in your favorite spot on the map. You also get points for killing an enemy distracted by it as well any teammates that kill any enemies affected by the decoy.
Lethal Equipment – Claymore

The Claymore provides comfort while camping and can alert and buy you time to switch weapons or to escape an enemy while you are distracted by aiming down sight. Place the claymore at your blindside entrance so that you don’t have to keep peeking behind your back, helping you to just focus on picking off enemies.
Perk Package – Sniper

There are two ways to put together perk packages in COD MW2. You can put custom packages together or choose the preset packages. The main advantage of preset packages is that you will have access to perks that you haven’t unlocked yet. The downside is that you can’t switch any of them out. Bonus perks are unlocked after 4 minutes of play and Ultimate perks are unlocked after 8 minutes.
The base perks for the Sniper Package are Double Time and Extra Tactical. Double time increases the duration of sprint and crouch movement speed. Extra tactical starts you off with three tactical equipment instead of two. The focus Perk reduces flinch and extends hold breath duration, the Birdseye perk zooms out the minimap and reveals enemy direction when using UAVs.
Field Upgrade – Tactical Insertion

Tactical Insertion is arguably the most popular choice with COD MW2 sniper loadout options. There are certain spots on maps that fare better than others for snipers and this item allows you to mark a location as your spawn point until the enemy destroys it. This is very helpful as the size of the rifle limits mobility and you don’t have to risk death after each respawn trying to get back to your favorite camping location.
So there you have the COD MW2 best sniper loadout options. The selection above are a good starting point but as you level up in rank and unlock attachment, perks, and field upgrades you can customize your loadout to your playing style and battle circumstances.
