EA Sports FC 24 Career Mode: Best Young Right Wingers (RW, RM) to Sign

Some of the most exciting talents in world football play from the right wing, and these are the outright best young right midfielders and right wingers to sign in Career Mode on EA Sports FC 24

Choosing EA Sports FC 24 Career Mode’s best young right wingers (RW & RM)

This piece focuses on the best young up-and-coming right wingers in EA Sports FC 24, which includes the likes of Bukayo Saka, Dejan Kulusevski, and Moussa Diaby.

Every player on this page has RM or RW listed as their main position in Career Mode, is under 23 years of age, and has an overall rating that ranks them among the very best.

Scroll down to the base of the page to see the full list of all of the best young right wingers in this year’s game.

    Bukayo Saka (86 OVR – 90 POT)

    EA FC 24 Bukayo-Saka Image

    Team: Arsenal
    Age: 21-years-old
    Wage: £125,000
    Value: £84.5 million
Best Attributes: 89 Dribbling, 88 Acceleration, 87 Ball Control

With an 86 overall rating and still only 21-years-old, Bukayo Saka ranks as the very best young right winger in EA Sports FC 24. The Englishman also has a hefty 90 potential rating to develop into.

Even before he adds another four points to his OVR, Saka is a menace on the wing, particularly because of his 88 acceleration, 89 dribbling, 85 reactions, and 87 ball control.

Last season, Arsenal were in with a genuine shot of winning the Premier League, and a big part of that was Saka playing in every single game and finishing with 14 goals and 11 assists in those 38 appearances.

Saka’s also become a staple of the England national team, being played on either wing to tally 11 goals and seven assists by the time of his 30th cap.

    Rodrygo (85 OVR – 91 POT)

    EA FC 24 Rodrygo Image

    Team: Real Madrid
    Age: 22-years-old
    Wage: £180,000
    Value: £73.5 million
Best Attributes: 89 Acceleration, 88 Sprint Speed, 87 Finishing

Rodrygo’s overall rating of 85 ranks him second to Saka among the best young right wingers in Career Mode, but with a 91 potential rating, in time, the Brazilian can overtake his opposite number.

Like the player atop this list, Real Madrid’s right-sided attacker is already a potent weapon thanks to his speed. At the start of the game, he boasts ratings of 89 acceleration, 88 sprint speed, and 87 finishing.

The diminutive winger from Osasco started this season as a go-to striker to attempt to fill the void left by Karim Benzema, but in 2022/23, he did get a fair bit of practice in the role.

Still, most of his 57 games were played from the right wing, and by the end of the campaign, Rodrygo had put up 19 goals and 11 assists.

    Moussa Diaby (84 OVR – 88 POT)

    Team: Aston Villa
    Age: 23-years-old
    Wage: £90,000
    Value: £51.5 million
Best Attributes: 95 Acceleration, 95 Sprint Speed, 93 Balance

Not only is Moussa Diaby one of the best young right midfielders in EA Sports FC 24, but he’s also one of the fastest, which makes him even more of a must-sign player in Career Mode.

The left-footer enters the game with 95 acceleration, 95 sprint speed, and 87 dribbling, but those ratings can get even better as he grows into his 88 potential.

Last season, the Frenchman made a huge impact in the Bundesliga for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and impressed in six showings in the Champions League.

While his pace and drive on the right side are what would have convinced Aston Villa to sign him for around £50 million, the 14 goals and 11 assists certainly helped Diaby’s appeal.

    Antony (81 OVR – 87 POT)

    EA FC 24 Antony Image

    Team: Manchester United
    Age: 23-years-old
    Wage: £100,000
    Value: £34.5 million
Best Attributes: 93 Agility, 89 Acceleration, 88 Ball Control

Brazilian right winger Antony lands fourth on this list of the best young RMs and RWs in the game, boasting an 81 overall rating from the start of Career Mode.

Like so many others on this list, Antony’s greatest strengths are in his speed, which is already showcased by his 89 acceleration, 93 agility, 88 balance, 86 dribbling, and 78 sprint speed.

The marquee signing for new boss Erik Ten Hag last season, Antony made enough of an impact to earn 47 appearances in his debut campaign with the Premier League club, which led to ten goals and five assists.

Now, the São Paulo native is a regular call-up for Brazil, but is more often deployed from the bench rather than as a starter.

    Dejan Kulusevski (81 OVR – 85 POT)

    Team: Tottenham Hotspur
    Age: 23-years-old
    Wage: £77,000
    Value: £31.5 million
Best Attributes: 86 Dribbling, 85 Ball Control, 85 Crossing

Standing 6’1’’ and naturally left-footed, Dejan Kulusevski is already a popular target in EA Sports FC 24’s Career Mode, and his 81 overall rating lands him among the best young right wingers.

The Swede has a sound collection of attribute ratings that, even though they’re not speed-centric, are very useful for a wide playmaker. Kulusevski’s 85 crossing, 85 curve, and 83 vision set him up as a classic right midfielder who looks to set up strikers rather than cut inside for a shot on goal.

Having been highly touted throughout his career, moving from Atlanta to Juventus in 2020, it was somewhat surprising that Tottenham Hotspur could reel him in from Juventus for a loan-to-permanent deal for close to £40 million.

While Kulusevski started out on the wing last season, he was also often deployed as an attacking midfielder. Still, a turbulent season for the club didn’t help, and he ended with eight assists and two goals.

    Nicolò Zaniolo (80 OVR – 84 POT)

Team: Aston Villa (on-loan from Galatasaray)
    Age: 23-years-old
    Wage: £36,500
    Value: £25.5 million
Best Attributes: 90 Strength, 89 Aggression, 86 Sprint Speed

Starting EA Sports FC 24 as a 23-year-old – but turning 24 just a day into a Career Mode simulation – Nicolò Zaniolo only just makes the cut as one of the best young right wingers here.

The 6’3’’ Italian is quite the unit to have running down the flank, which is further enforced by his top ratings being 90 strength, 89 aggression, and 84 shot power.

In his still young career, Zaniolo has been on the books of Fiorentina, Genoa, Inter Milan, Roma, Galatasaray, and now Aston Villa, winning the Young Player of the Year in Serie A with Roma in 2019.

Last season, the attacker from Massa made a mid-season switch from Roma to Galatasaray following a long stretch of inconsistency, but only played 12 games to score five goals before moving to the Premier League.

    Takefusa Kubo (80 OVR – 86 POT)

    Team: Real Sociedad
    Age: 22-years-old
    Wage: £31,500
    Value: £29 million
Best Attributes: 89 Acceleration, 85 Agility, 84 Ball Control

From the hulking Zaniolo to the tight dribbling of Takefusa Kubo, the Japanese lefty enters EA Sports FC 24 as one of the best young right wingers with his 80 OVR but can still develop into a solid 86 POT.

Kubo’s playstyle in-game is all about his low centre of gravity and making speedy dribbles into the box, which is enabled by his 89 acceleration, 85 agility, 84 ball control, 83 balance, 83 dribbling, and 80 finishing.

Recognised as a top talent from a very young age, Kubo made his way to Barcelona’s vaunted La Masia in 2011. However, he had to return to Japan to play for FC Tokyo due to Barça violating international transfer policies to get him.

In 2019, he returned to Spain, but this time to join Real Madrid. In three years, he was loaned out four times within La Liga before Real Sociedad paid just £6 million to land the talented winger. He’s already a staple for the Txuri-Urdin, scoring 13 goals and ten assists by his 50th appearance for the club.
