FIFA 21 Career Mode: Best Cheap High Potential Right Wingers (RW & RM)

Fancy developing a top player on the right wing but can’t afford a recognised star? Each of these high potential RWs and RMs cost less than £1 million.

There is a tremendous divide between the transfer budget and pulling power of clubs in the top divisions and those in the next leagues down. So, lower division managers need to be savvy, signing players who will help their team increase in its ability to compete for the next several years as well as bring some more value to the club.

This is where the best cheap players with high potential come into play. By signing a player for less than £1 million, who has a potential rating that meets or exceeds the average overall rating of players in your league, every time you play them, your investment will increase in value.

So, let’s dig into the best cheap RWs and RMs with high potential ratings for your to sign in Career Mode.

Choosing FIFA 21 Career Mode’s Best Cheap Right Wingers (RW & RM)

To make it onto this list of the best cheap right wingers and right midfielders in Career Mode, each player had to meet a set of criteria. First of all, they have to have a release clause of less than £1 million. Due to this, free agents and on-loan players have been excluded from the rankings.

So that you know that your small transfer fees will go far, we’ve excluded all players from the best cheap RW list who have a potential rating that’s less than 77 POT. The players who make the cut are listed based on their POT, so those at the top of the list are the best cheap RW and RM players to sign in FIFA 21’s Career Mode.

For a full list of ALL our best cheap high potential right wingers (RW & RM), please look at the table towards the end of the page.

Noah Fatar (59 OVR – 79 POT)

Team: Angers SCO
Age: 18
Best Position: LW, LS, ST, RS, RW
Overall/Potential: 59 OVR / 79 POT
Value (Release Clause): £550,000 (£878,000)
Wage: £1,400 per week
Best Attributes: 88 Balance, 72 Shot Power, 69 Penalties

Noah Fatar spent all but one B-team game with the LOSC Lille youth team last season, particularly impressing in his UEFA Youth League showings. Against the likes of Ajax, Chelsea, and Valencia CF, Fatar played every minute, scoring twice and setting one up.

Over the summer, Angers SCO picked up the 18-year-old Frenchman, assigning him to their B-team in the fourth tier of French football. Fatar featured in all three of the opening games of the season, scoring twice in the process.

The left-footed, 5’6’’ winger comes into FIFA 21 as the best cheap RW with high potential to sign in Career Mode, only costing £878,000 to gain access to his 79 POT.

Adding to his appeal, the foundations are there for Fatar to become a very useful player on the pitch. His starting attribute ratings of high attacking work rate, 72 shot power, 67 finishing, 88 balance, 67 ball control, 69 penalties, and 65 volleys look to shape him into a potent scoring threat from the RW position.

Kwadwo Baah (56 OVR – 79 POT)

Team: Rochdale AFC
Age: 17
Best Position: LW, RW
Overall/Potential: 56 OVR / 79 POT
Value (Release Clause): £400,000 (£495,000)
Wage: £450 per week
Best Attributes: 80 Sprint Speed, 78 Balance, 75 Acceleration

Still only 17-years-old now, Kwadwo Baah broke into Rochdale AFC’s first-team ranks in the middle of last season. Starting a few league games and featuring in cup contests, he played ten games, mostly on the left wing.

This season, the young English winger has been given opportunities much earlier in the campaign. Playing on the right wing and as a striker for The Dale, Baah tallied his first professional goal contribution by setting up the team’s only score in their League One season opener.

With his 56 OVR helping to drive the price down to a mere £495,000, Baah ranks as one of the best cheap RWs to sign in FIFA 21’s Career Mode. Better than his price, however, is that he already has some strong attribute ratings.

Pace continues to be a major factor in FIFA titles, and Baah comes in with buckets of it: his 80 sprint speed, 75 acceleration, 74 agility, and 78 balance make him a useful asset, even at his 56 OVR.

Anthony Descotte (56 OVR – 79 POT)

Team: Sporting de Charleroi
Age: 16
Best Position: LW, LM, RM, RW
Overall/Potential: 56 OVR / 79 POT
Value (Release Clause): £400,000 (£450,000)
Wage: £450 per week
Best Attributes: 74 Balance, 73 Sprint Speed, 69 Dribbling

Once a part of the RSC Anderlecht youth system, Anthony Descotte switched to Sporting de Charleroi last season, earning himself a place on the bench in several Jupiler Pro League matches.

Where Descotte has really been able to showcase his potential, though, has been with Belgium’s national youth teams. For the under-16s, he scored three goals in six games. With the same coach at the helm when he moved up to the under-17s, Thierry Siquet, the young winger notched five goals in six games.

Turning 17-years-old very quickly in your first season on Career Mode, Descotte offers some decent ratings for a RM, including his 73 sprint speed, 63 acceleration, 74 balance, 69 dribbling, 61 ball control, and 68 agility.

As one of the younger players among the best cheap RMs with high potential in FIFA 21, you should be able to offer the Belgian reasonable wages after paying his cheap release clause of £450,000.

Yanis Begraoui (59 OVR – 79 POT)

Team: AJ Auxerre
Age: 18
Best Position: LW, LM, RM, RW, LS, ST, RS
Overall/Potential: 59 OVR / 79 POT
Value (Release Clause): £575,000 (£819,000)
Wage: £650 per week
Best Attributes: 79 Balance, 78 Sprint Speed, 74 Acceleration

Having made his first-team debut for AJ Auxerre in 2018 as a 16-year-old, Yanis Begraoui has bounced between the first team, reserves, and youth set-up for the past couple of seasons.

For the 2020/21 campaign, however, the Étampes-native looks to have secured a spot in the first-team. In Auxerre’s second game of the Ligue 2 season, Begraoui came off of the bench to score a very late winner, continuing to be used as an attempted super-sub in the next four games.

Boasting the joint-highest starting overall rating of the best cheap RM and RW players with high potential, the Frenchman features some of the most well-rounded attribute ratings of the bunch.

Accompanying Begraoui’s five-star weak foot is his 78 sprint speed, 74 acceleration, 79 balance, 73 stamina, 69 finishing, 65 dribbling, 67 agility, and 68 jumping.

Julian von Moos (58 OVR – 78 POT)

Team: FC Basel
Age: 19
Best Position: LW, LM, RM, RW, LS, ST, RS
Overall/Potential: 58 OVR / 78 POT
Value (Release Clause): £525,000 (£619,000)
Wage: £1,400 per week
Best Attributes: 81 Balance, 77 Agility, 73 Sprint Speed

Back in the summer of 2018, FC Basel saw it fit to pay £1.17 million for Grasshopper Club Zürich prospect Julian von Moos. Now, having spent last season out on-loan to FC Wil 1900, the Swiss giants look to be working the young forward into the first-team.

Still only 19-years-old, the Münsterlingen-native was given opportunities early in the season, coming on for roughly 20 minutes in four of FC Basel’s first six games – missing one due to a double-yellow suspension.

Von Moos’ 78 POT and £619,000 release clause combine to make him one of the best cheap right wingers with high potential in Career Mode, with his slightly lower POT being compensated by his strong starting attribute ratings.

Already offering 72 acceleration, 73 sprint speed, and 77 agility, the 19-year-old Swiss right midfielder looks set to become a true speedster, with his 62 finishing and 58 heading accuracy ready to develop him into a potent scoring option.
