7. Emile Smith Rowe (80 OVR – 87 POT)

Team: Arsenal
Age: 21
Position:
LM, CAM
Wage:
£56,000 p/w
Value: £37 million
Best Attributes: (84 Dribbling, 81 Ball Control, 81 Short Passing)

Another one of Arsenal’s talented youngsters, Emile Smith Rowe has made an impact for the Gunners in recent seasons and this is reflected in his 80 overall and 87 potential ratings.

The 21-year-old has a lot of quality attributes; his 84 Dribbling and 81 Ball Control are a brilliant combination when looking to drive at defenders. His 81 Short Passing will be perfect for playing one-twos to create space to attack. In the final third, he is also competent with his 74 Crossing a constant threat as well as his 74 Finishing and 78 Composure making him confident in front of goal.

Smith Rowe has been part of Arsenal’s youth system since 2016 and has spent time on loan with RB Leipzig and Huddersfield to gain the experience needed to battle his way into the starting line-up for the Gunners. Last campaign saw Smith Rowe make 37 appearances for Arsenal, finding the net on 11 occasions and racking up two assists. The talented winger has been called up to the England squad three times and has scored one goal; he will hope his form for Arsenal will force England manager Gareth Southgate to take note of his talent with Qatar on the horizon.

6. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (67 OVR – 87 POT)

Team: Borussia Dortmund
Age: 17
Position:
LM, RM
Wage:
£2,000 p/w
Value: £2.4 million
Best Attributes: (86 Acceleration, 86 Agility, 82 Balance)

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is another Englishman who has been given an opportunity over in Germany with Borussia Dortmund at just 17-years-old. Although his 67 overall rating is not much to shout about, he has a lot of room to develop and grow with his 87 potential rating.

Bynoe-Gittens has the building blocks in place to develop into a star of the future with his 86 Acceleration, 86 Agility and 82 Balance giving a solid base to build on. He also has 78 Dribbling and 74 Ball Control, which will make him a solid option on the wing and are not bad stats for a player so early in his career.

His career began in England with Reading before moving onto Manchester City’s academy and then to Dortmund, who seem to have a talent for picking out these gems. Last season saw the talented youngster make four first-team appearances for the Bundesliga runners-up. In the youth ranks, he scored 11 goals and racked up four assists. Bynoe-Gittens has represented England at U19 level four times and will hope in years to come he can push for a place in the first team.

5. Gabriel Martinelli (78 OVR – 88 POT)

Team: Arsenal
Age: 21
Position:
LM
Wage:
£48,000 p/w
Value: £27.1 million
Best Attributes: (88 Acceleration, 86 Sprint Speed, 82 Agility)

Part of Arsenal’s talented, youthful side, Gabriel Martinelli has risen to prominence for his skill, attacking threat and speed. This can be seen both in his 78 overall and 88 potential ratings.

Martinelli has some great initial attributes. Most striking are his 88 Acceleration paired with his 86 Sprint Speed and 82 Agility; you can expect him to breeze past defenders and have them tied in knots with quick changes in direction. With Martinelli’s 82 Dribbling and 79 Ball Control, the opposition will struggle to regain possession when the ball is at this young man’s feet. He can contribute in multiple ways with his 76 Finishing and 75 Composure. He has goals in his game but also can supply opportunities with his 73 Crossing.

Martinelli came to Arsenal from Ituano Futebol Clube for a fee of $7.8 million (£6.9 million, €7.92). He made 36 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners last season, scoring six goals and assisting on seven more. Martinelli has also made three international appearances for Brazil.

Age: 18
Position:
LW, ST, RW
Wage:
£16,000 p/w
Value: £6 million
Best Attributes: (86 Dribbling, 83 Balance, 82 Agility)

Talented young Frenchman Rayan Cherki is part of an Olympique Lyonnais side that is recovering after the loss of some of its most influential players. Cherki is sure to help matters with his 73 overall rating and the exciting prospect of his 88 potential.

Cherki is not quite a world-beater yet but has some good attributes to build on. His 86 Dribbling with 79 Ball Control shows he is very capable with the ball, and his 82 Agility allows him to weave through defences rapidly. His 83 Balance should prevent any stumbles when opposition try to bump him off the ball.

The teenage attacking midfielder made 20 first team appearances for Lyon last season and scored two goals, both of which came in the Europa League. He also contributed four assists for the team. Cherki is currently part of the French U21 side and has made four appearances, finding the back of the net on four occasions.

3. Moleiro (73 OVR – 88 POT)

Team: Unión Deportiva Las Palmas
Age: 18
Position:
LM, CM, CAM

£3,000 p/w

Best Attributes: (83 Balance, 82 Vision, 80 Acceleration)

Moleiro currently plies his trade for UD Las Palmas in Spain’s second tier and is a highly-rated prospect for the Canary Island side. His 73 overall rating isn’t all that impressive, but the fact he can be picked up for a small fee and has 88 potential could make him a very shrewd purchase.

The 18-year-old has some fairly decent stats with his 83 Balance helping to keep him on his feet when defenders try to nudge him off the ball. His 82 Vision shows he has an eye for a pass and can read the game well. He also has 80 Acceleration, so can speed past his opponents with ease and change direction at will with his 80 Agility.

Moleiro has been part of UD Las Palmas since 2018 when he joined from CD Sobradillo and has worked his way up to the first team through the youth ranks. LW

£72,000 p/w
Value: £32.7 million
Best Attributes: (90 Acceleration, 89 Agility, 87 Sprint Speed)

FC Barcelona’s new No. 10 Ansu Fati is very highly regarded by those at the club, and it’s easy to see why with his 79 overall and 90 potential ratings.

Fati will have defenders struggling to keep up with him due to his 90 Acceleration, 87 Sprint Speed and 89 Agility that let him cruise past them without any issues at all. His 82 Dribbling will also contribute to his attacking threat along with his 82 Finishing and 82 Composure, which means he’s clinical when through on goal.

The 19-year-old joined Barça’s famed La Masia academy from Sevilla’s academy on a free transfer and has graduated through the youth ranks to the first team. Last season saw an injury-stricken Fati only able to make 15 appearances for Barça, but he contributed with a remarkable six goals and one assist during those few games.
