Shadow Body
The Shadow Body is one of the body evolutions that you can use to upgrade your shark in Maneater.
Unlocked by finding all of the landmarks in Sapphire Bay, the Shadow Body evolution is a part of the Shadow Set, which offers Max Speed boosts.

How to Unlock the Shadow Body
To unlock the Shadow Body evolution, you must swim around the Sapphire Bay area of the Maneater map to find all of the landmarks.
In Sapphire Bay, there are eight landmarks dotted around. You can find the telltale signposts by using your sonar (Layout 1: O or B), which makes them show up in orange, and then you need to hit them with any form of attack.

Shadow Body Parameter Boosts
Along with the on lunge and while active effects of the Shadow Form ability, without considering the Shadow Set perks, a Tier 5 Shadow Body will add these parameter points to your shark:
- +3 Damage
- +9 Speed
Each ratings parameter consists of 20 sections, each of which contains five points. Applying a body evolution that boosts a rating by +5 will fill the equivalent of one section.
Shadow Body Effects and Abilities
The Shadow Body ability is the Shadow Form, which is described as:
“Shadow Form slows the world around you while also releasing an aura of poison each time you lunge.”
Upgrading your Shadow Body with the required nutrients will enhance the Shadow Form ability while active and on lunge, as shown below:

Creatures suffer -1% speed, -1% damage resistance, and -1% damage output plus 2 damage per second for each stacked poison counter (up to 30 poison counters).
Every three seconds, a counter is removed from the creature.
