FIFA 23 Set to Kick off Women’s World Cup with Exciting New Update and Modes

EA Sports has unveiled an exhilarating update in anticipation of the forthcoming Women’s World Cup, with FIFA 23 all set to offer players three new gameplay modes.

The Women’s World Cup this summer brings together 32 national teams in Australia and New Zealand. Just as they did for the recent Men’s competition in Qatar, EA has developed special content for FIFA 23 to honour the occasion.

The free update, scheduled for the latter part of June, is yet to receive a definitive release date. However, the inclusion of a realistic FIFA Women’s World Cup experience is certain to stoke anticipation for the upcoming tournament. But what exactly can players look forward to?

Women’s World Cup Comes to Life on FIFA 23

FIFA 23 players will be offered three unique ways to relive the Women’s World Cup.

The classic kick-off mode will provide gamers the opportunity to engage in a swift match, utilising all official World Cup features. This encompasses all 32 participating teams, including the players, as well as the authentic match introductions and brandings.

In kick-off mode, players can compete against friends or the computer and have the option to participate in a group stage game or heighten the stakes by engaging in a knockout stage match.

On the other hand, the tournament mode is set to receive an update that includes the FIFA Women’s World Cup, allowing players to select from any of the qualified countries and steer them to a legendary victory throughout the entire competition.

These modes will both offer the opportunity for players to compete in Stadium Australia, the official venue for the Final.

The third mode, dubbed “Lead your Country”, introduces an immersive new way to participate in the Women’s World Cup on FIFA 23. In this mode, users can select a player from any of the participating countries to control in a match.

For instance, if players wish to step into the shoes of Sam Kerr and steer Australia to victory, the choice is theirs.

There is an alternative approach to “Lead your Country”. Users can create their own player avatar and select the country they wish to represent. From this point, their character will assist their chosen country in their pursuit of the World Cup.

The forthcoming enhancements to FIFA 23 ensure the inclusion of 32 Women’s national teams. Here is the list of the WWC countries soon to be part of FIFA 23:

Group A: New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Switzerland

Group B: Australia, Republic of Ireland, Nigeria, Canada

Group C: Spain, Costa Rica, Zambia, Japan

Group D: England, Haiti, Denmark, China

Group E: USA, Vietnam, Portugal, Netherlands

Group F: France, Jamaica, Panama, Brazil

Group G: Sweden, South Africa, Italy, Argentina

Group H: Germany, Morocco, Colombia, Korea Republic

This forthcoming update will certainly provide an engrossing Women’s World Cup experience to all FIFA 23 players around the globe.
