If you haven’t done so already, visit the Hogwarts Legacy official website and register to unlock some in game rewards. You can also undertake three multiple choice personality quizzes to find out which House you belong to, your wand type as well as which animal represents your Patronus. These are just for fun and don’t have any implication on decisions made within the game itself. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a freebie?

When venturing through the world around you be aware of hidden pathways and chests that are often tucked away which can hold currency or valuable loot. Be sure to explore the stunning scenery and hopefully unearth some goodies along the way. Like when following Professor Fig towards the first Port Key as you climb up the large ledge, go left in the opposite direction to Fig and you will come across a chest. There is also a hidden chest just outside of vault 12 near the entrance on the right side.

When an attack is incoming, an indicator appears around your character’s head. Quickly Tap Triangle to defend yourself or Hold Triangle to Block and cast Stupefy to stun your enemy leaving them vulnerable to basic cast attacks by tapping R2. Lumos can be used to illuminate darker areas and is cast by holding R2 and pressing triangle. Revelio is used to reveal things that are hidden by magic this spell can be triggered by pressing left on the d-pad.
