Sometimes, when cruising around Los Santos, you want a little more than the standard car. While a previous article covered the best overall cars in GTA V and GTA Online, this one will focus on one factor: The fastest super car in GTA 5, and it will include both story mode and online mode.

Story Mode

Truffade Adder
Cost: $1,000,000
Where to Purchase: Legendary Motorsport
Top speed (when fully upgraded): 124.75 mph (200.77 kmh)

The Truffade Adder will certainly meet your standards for speed in the main storyline if that is what you desire. The car would be helpful in the “Blitz Play” story mission as the getaway car. To fulfill the requirements of the car being stolen rather than owned by a character, you can find it as a spawn in front of Sessanta Nove at Portola Drive in Rockford Hills. This is the case for story mode and online mode both. However, if that car does not suit your needs in online mode, there is another option, and it’s one that is particularly fun.

Online Mode

Grotti Vigilante
Cost: $3,750,000

For comic book fans, the Grotti Vigilante should look familiar. If you are a fan of Batman, the Grotti Vigilante looks a lot like the Batmobile, particularly ones seen in the Batman Forever and Batman & Robin movies, which looked a bit like the one in Batman: The Animated Series. Keeping in line with Rockstar’s tongue-in-cheek humour, it makes sense they would model the car after two of the worst Batman movies ever made, critically speaking.

Regardless, the Grotti Vigilante is the fastest super car in GTA 5 in online mode, and it significantly outpaces the Truffade Adder. If you feel the need for speed (pun somewhat intended), it should satisfy that desire handily and give you a great way to get around the city while looking like a superhero. Just don’t lose a wheel, as Batman doesn’t need to hear that song again in the Christmas season, especially if it leads to Joker getting away.
