Classic centre forward play is a rare art in the modern game, but if you want to utilise a big man up top in FIFA 22, you’ll want a ST or CF who’s tall and strong.

Even though the point of focus for the tallest FIFA 22 strikers is each individual player’s height, it should be noted that several of these strikers – who are all at least 6’6’’ in height – also boast strong complementary attribute ratings to enhance their standing as your team’s target man.

1. Fejsal Mulić, Height: 6’8’’ (64 OVR – 66 POT)

Standing 6’8’’, or 203cm, Fejsal Mulić is the tallest striker in FIFA 22, weighing in at 84kg to make him an undeniable presence on the field.

Currently playing in the Korea Republic, the towering Serbian is all about power and athleticism, as demonstrated by his 92 strength, 74 aggression, 73 shot power, 69 acceleration, and 80 sprint speed.

Despite still only being 26-years-old, Mulić is very much a journeyman, but appears to now be enjoying his richest vein of form. Last season, he netted nine times in 18 Premijer Liga games and then put up 12 goals in 28 K-League 1 matches.

2. Anosike Ementa, Height: 6’8’’ (53 OVR – 67 POT)

Standing just one centimetre shorter than the absolute tallest striker in FIFA 22, Anosike Ementa may have the edge in the eyes of some due to his superior potential overall rating.

The hefty striker is still only 19-years-old and has plenty of room to grow from his 53 overall rating. From the get-go, though, the Dane has top attribute ratings of 74 strength, 67 sprint speed, 66 jumping, and 62 heading accuracy.

This season, Ementa looks set to be a part of the Aalborg BK first-team, but has mostly only played in the youth ranks, bar a few quick showings in the second tier of Danish football with FC Helsingör.

3. Paul Ebere Onuachu, Height: 6’7’’ (79 OVR – 80 POT)

He’s not the outright tallest striker in FIFA 22, but Paul Ebere Onuachu might just be the most useful of the tallest strikers, boasting several incredible ratings. Despite his 79 overall rating, he can certainly hold his own in divisions ranked higher than the Jupiler Pro League.

What you want from a target man is strength, aerial prowess, and the ability to finish: Onuachu has all of this in his arsenal. The Nigerian has 93 strength, 85 heading accuracy, 81 attack positioning, 83 finishing, and even 79 ball control.

KRC Genk are certainly reaping the benefits of playing a mere £5.4 million for Onuachu in 2019. By the 80-game mark, he’d already scored 53 goals, with eight of them coming in just 11 games this season – which includes a Europa League strike.

4. Henk Veerman, Height: 6’7’’ (72 OVR – 72 POT)

Standing 6’7’’ and 90kg, Henk Veerman towers above most centre backs in the Eredivisie, and would most likely do the same in your league if you sign the 30-year-old in Career Mode.

With his 77 sprint speed, 74 attack positioning, 72 reactions, and 72 jumping, the Dutchman is rather mobile, but it’s his 77 finishing and 77 heading accuracy that most FIFA 22 players will utilise in the box.

Now in the second season of his second stint with Heerenveen, Veerman is scoring for fun in the Eredivisie. Last season, he put up 14 goals and six assists in 31 games, starting this season with four goals in six contests.

5. Simon Makienok, Height: 6’7’’ (66 OVR – 66 POT)

The second Dane to make it into the top section of the tallest ST and CF players in FIFA 22, Simon Makienok is heading towards the end of his career, without any room to grow his 66 overall rating in-game.

Unlike some of his 6’7’’ peers, Makienok isn’t overly strong with the ball at his feet, being more of an aerial threat than anything else. His 89 strength and 80 heading accuracy allow the striker to barge past defenders to get to the ball and direct it towards the goal.

After leaving FC Utrecht for SG Dynamo Dresden in January 2020, Makienok quickly found himself on the move again. In August 2020, FC St. Pauli found themselves with a Veerman-sized hole to fill, so they reeled in this towering Dane.

6. Saša Kalajdžić, Height: 6’7’’ (77 OVR – 82 POT)

Saša Kalajdžić is only 24-years-old, is playing in the Bundesliga, has rather good attributes for a 77-overall striker, and just so happens to be 6’7’’ as well.

With 78 ball control, 78 reactions, 82 finishing, 82 strength, 80 attack positioning, and 86 heading accuracy, the Austrian striker would rank as a decent signing regardless of his height. Still, being a 6’7’’ forward with an 82 potential rating certainly makes Kalajdžić a novel signing in Career Mode.

The Wien-native looks to be developing into one of his nation’s brightest young stars. He already has four goals in 11 caps for Austria, featured and scored in Euro 2020, and got 16 Bundesliga goals last season.

7. Leonardo Rocha, Height: 6’7’’ (66 OVR – 73 POT)

With a 66 overall rating, a 73 potential rating, and a value of just £1.5 million, Leonardo Rocha’s a decent project to buy in FIFA 22 – especially if you want one of the tallest strikers in the game.

From the start of Career Mode, however, Rocha doesn’t have many user-friendly ratings. His 87 strength can only go so far, making his 70 finishing and 68 heading accuracy look rather weak. Still, he’s got plenty of room to develop those key ratings.

Last season, parent club KAS Eupen loaned Rocha to the second tier of Belgian football, the Proximus League, where he scored ten goals and set-up two more in 15 games for RWD Molenbeek. The towering Portuguese striker likely would have scored more if not for getting appendicitis.
