FIFA 22: Piemonte Calcio (Juventus) Player Ratings

See what ratings the stars of Juventus (Piemonte Calcio) get in FIFA 22.

The Old Lady were dethroned last season as Inter Milan dominated Serie A, with Juventus trailing in fourth after winning the league for nine straight years. Juventus still won the Italian domestic cup, but they would have been disappointed not to make it 37 league titles.

The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo over the summer will leave a big hole, but towards the end of last season, there was talk of the side being better without him. It will allow players to step into the void, particularly attacking players, with Dybala poised to capitalise.

A conscious move to bring in young talent was evident this summer. Locatelli, Kean, McKennie, and Ihattaren are all 23-years or younger and will be looking to establish themselves in an ageing team.

In this article, we will look at the seven best Piemonte Calcio (Juventus) players on FIFA 22.

Paulo Dybala (87 OVR – 88 POT)

Best Position: CF
Age: 27
Overall Rating: 87
Skill Moves: Four-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Balance, 91 Ball Control, 92 Agility

Palermo came calling after only 15 games into his Instituto de Córdoba career, enticing the Argentine away from his home nation to Italy. Three seasons later, Dybala joined Juventus, where he’s won five Serie A titles and four Italian Cups.

Dybala hasn’t been as prolific in the past three seasons, but with Cristiano Ronaldo back at Manchester United, he will be hoping to find his former form. During the 2017/2018 season, prior to Ronaldo joining, Dybala bagged 22 goals in the Italian top-flight.

As a centre forward, it is not just Dybala’s goalscoring ability that is premier. His 93 ball control, 91 vision, and 87 short passing means that his link-up play with other attackers puts his team in great positions to score.

Wojciech Szczęsny (87 OVR – 87 POT)

Best Position: GK
Age: 31
Overall Rating: 87
Weak Foot: Three-Star
Best Attributes: 88 Reflexes, 87 Positioning, 86 Diving

After a chequered Arsenal career, Szczęsny really took off when he moved to Serie A and joined AS Roma. His 23 clean sheets in 81 games led to a move to Juventus, where he’s established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in world football.

With Juventus placed fourth in the domestic table last season, their defensive record wasn’t as stellar as in previous years. Szczęsny allowed 32 goals in 30 games – a ratio he will be hoping not to repeat this season.

The Polish international excels as a shot stopper with 88 reflexes, 87 positioning, and 86 diving. His 82 handling means that he may parry the ball into dangerous places from time to time, and his 73 kicking is worth noting if you like to distribute that way.

Giorgio Chiellini (86 OVR – 86 POT)

Best Position: CB
Age: 36
Overall Rating: 86
Weak Foot: Three-Star
Best Attributes: 93 Marking, 91 Jumping, 91 Strength

Juventus’ club captain will go down as one of their best defenders of all time. Under his leadership, Juventus have won nine Serie A titles and five Italian Cups. Injuries have become more frequent for the centre back in recent years, but he is still heralded as one of the world’s best defenders.

Chiellini’s leadership was most notably apparent in Euro 2020, leading Italy to victory. The tournament was 36-year-old’s fourth European Championships appearance and most likely his last.

The Italian international’s pace may have lessened, but his ability as a solid defender most definitely hasn’t. His 69 sprint speed and 67 acceleration are balanced by his 93 marking, 91 jumping, and 91 strength.

Leonardo Bonucci (85 OVR – 85 POT)

Best Position: CB
Age: 34
Overall Rating: 85
Weak Foot: Four-Star
Best Attributes: 90 Jumping, 88 Marking, 86 Strength

Bonucci switched to AC Milan from current club Juventus for a single season in 2017. However, it didn’t take long for Bonucci to re-establish his partnership with Chiellini back at Juventus one year later.

With nearly 447 caps for the Old Lady and 111 caps for Italy, Bonucci is one of the most experienced centre backs in the world. Winning Euro 2020 and scoring in the final may be his greatest accolade.

Bonucci’s defensive frailties come in the form of his poor sprint speed (68) and acceleration (60) ratings. As long as he’s not dragged out wide and exposed by the pace of wingers, he will be a beast. His 90 jumping and 86 strength make him lethal in the air, and his 88 making and 86 interceptions give him the ability to reclaim the ball efficiently.

Matthijs de Ligt (85 OVR – 90 POT)

Best Position: CB
Age: 21
Overall Rating: 85
Weak Foot: Three-Star
Best Attributes: 93 Jumping, 93 Strength, 85 Heading Accuracy

Matthijs de Ligt moved through Ajax’s youth system before two years in their first-team saw him move to Juventus for over £75 million.

Only 21-years-old, De Ligt has already played for the Netherlands 31 times and scored two goals. Euro 2020 was his first major international tournament, but the Netherlands struggled to get past the Czech Republic in the Round of 16.

The Dutch international is a powerful aerial threat on FIFA 22 with 93 jumping, 93 strength, and 85 heading accuracy. Toting 71 acceleration and 75 sprint speed, he isn’t slow, but his 85 standing tackle, 85 sliding tackle, and 84 marking are world-class.

Juan Cuadrado (83 OVR – 83 POT)

Best Position: RB
Age: 33
Overall Rating: 83
Skill Moves: Five-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Agility, 91 Acceleration, 90 Dribbling

Throughout his career, Cuadrado has slowly moved further back from right winger to right midfield, and now to right back. He has played 69 games as a right back and has 20 assists, reflective of his earlier career playing further up the pitch.

In 2015, Cuadrado was a part of Chelsea’s Premier League-winning season before moving to Italy, where he’s won five consecutive Serie A titles with Juventus. He’s also played 97 games for Colombia, but is yet to win a major trophy with his country.

The attacking prowess of Cuadrado is still evident on FIFA 22, with 90 dribbling, 84 shot power, and five-star skill moves. His 91 acceleration and 89 sprint speed make him electric up and down the flanks, whilst his 84 crossing ability allows him to set-up his teammates effectively.

Alex Sandro (83 OVR – 83 POT)

Best Position: LB
Age: 30
Overall Rating: 83
Weak Foot: Three-Star
Best Attributes: 84 Crossing, 83 Sprint Speed, 83 Stamina

Alex Sandro has played football in Brazil, Uruguay, Portugal, and now Italy with Juventus. Niggling injuries in the past couple of seasons have hampered his prospects, but even when playing a full season, he’s never had over five assists in a single league campaign.

Sandro made his Brazil debut back in 2011, although he has only played 30 times for his country. He started the first three Copa America games in the summer, but was benched for the rest of the tournament.

Alex Sandro’s 84 crossing stands out among his ratings. His 83 sprint speed, 83 stamina, and 81 short passing are notable, but he’s without any other ratings above 80. The Brazilian is well rounded but doesn’t excel in any given area.
