Juventus have become an indomitable force in Italian football, winning nine consecutive Serie A titles and four Coppa Italia trophies over the last nine campaigns, while also going to the Champions League final twice.
This train of success commenced under Antonio Conte, who won the title at the first time of asking despite inheriting a seventh-placed team. After three seasons of Conte came Massimiliano Allegri to continue the success for another five campaigns.
Most recently, even though Maurizio Sarri’s only season in charge was deemed to be disappointing, the Turin residents still won the league. Now, it’s over to Italian legend Andrea Pirlo to land an unprecedented decade of titles for Juventus.
In FIFA 21, Juventus play under the banner of ‘Piemonte Calcio,’ due to eFootball PES owning the name and image rights of the club. The club’s star players are in the EA Sports title, with all of their ratings presented at the base of this article, just under the featured best goalie, defender, midfielder, and forwards.
Wojciech Szczęsny (87 OVR)
Best Position: GK
Overall Rating: 87
Weak Foot: Three-Star
Best Attributes: 88 Goalkeeper Reflexes, 87 Goalkeeper Positioning, 86 Goalkeeper Diving
It’d be fair to say that Wojciech Szczęsny didn’t take the Premier League by storm in his time between the pegs for Arsenal. However, following a loan move to AS Roma, Juventus saw enough to bring him in a few years ago.
Initially playing in tandem with the mighty Gianluigi Buffon, the Polish netminder was then given the starting role in 2018/19, before having some starts leak away to a returning Buffon. In this role, however, Szczęsny has kept 46 clean sheets in 100 games.
The Piemonte Calcio goalie doesn’t make the cut as one of the best GKs in FIFA 21, but his goalkeeping attributes have decent ratings.
With 88 goalkeeper reflexes, 86 goalkeeper diving, 82 goalkeeper handling, and 87 goalkeeper positioning, Szczęsny will stop plenty of shots in the game.
Giorgio Chiellini (87 OVR)
Best Position: CB
Overall Rating: 87
Weak Foot: Three-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Marking, 90 Standing Tackle, 90 Aggression
Still recognised as one of the most trustworthy and physically-imposing centre-backs in the world, even at 36-years-old, Giorgio Chiellini is back to commanding the Juventus defence this season.
Last season, the club captain could only add four games and one goal to his current tally of 511 games and 36 goals for La Vecchia Signora, due to a cruciate ligament rupture.
Despite missing almost all of the 2019/20 campaign, FIFA 21 has retained a high rating for Chiellini, making him one of the best CBs in the game at 87 OVR.
The Italian’s attribute ratings make him a pure stay-at-home defender, with little by way of athleticism or technical skills, and most of his points being focussed on his 94 marking, 90 standing tackle, 88 interceptions, 87 jumping, 87 strength, and 88 sliding tackle.
Arthur Melo (84 OVR)
Best Position: CM
Overall Rating: 84
Skill Moves: Four-Star
Best Attributes: 90 Balance, 90 Composure, 89 Ball Control
This summer saw one of the more bizarre trade transfers take place, with Juventus sending 30-year-old midfield maestro Miralem Pjanić and around £10 million to FC Barcelona in exchange for the talented 24-year-old Arthur Melo.
Pjanić’s ability to move around the pitch, make space for passes, and complete passes is unquestionable. While he was the player who got the ball moving up the pitch for Juve, Arthur did much of the same for Barcelona, and he’s much younger.
In FIFA 21, the new Piemonte Calcio midfielder holds a fair overall rating of 84, which isn’t quite enough to crack the elite ranks at CM in the game.
The Brazilian’s strongest attributes include his 89 ball control, 88 short passing, 86 vision, 90 balance, 90 composure, 87 dribbling, and 84 long passing.
Cristiano Ronaldo (92 OVR)
Best Position: ST
Overall Rating: 92
Skill Moves: Five-Star
Best Attributes: 95 Jumping, 95 Reactions, 95 Finishing
He may be 35-years-old, but Cristiano Ronaldo is still one of the two best, if not the best player in the world right now.
At the time of writing, across the four clubs he’s played for, Ronaldo has scored 639 goals and 224 assists through 851 games, with 37 of those goals and seven assists coming in a Juventus shirt last season.
The ratings team at EA Sports continues to recognise the two-horse race for the top overall rating, with Ronaldo trailing Lionel Messi by one point this year. He does, however, stand as the best ST in FIFA 21.
The already-legendary forward boasts some incredible ratings in the game, highlighted by his 91 sprint speed, 95 positioning, 95 finishing, 94 shot power, 93 long shots, 92 ball control, 95 composure, 95 jumping, and 90 heading accuracy.
Paulo Dybala (88 OVR)
Best Position: CF
Overall Rating: 88
Skill Moves: Four-Star
Best Attributes: 94 Ball Control, 92 Agility, 91 Dribbling
Since coming over from US Palmero in 2015, Paulo Dybala has been deployed as a centre forward, striker, right winger, left winger, and attacking midfielder. Still, with 41 goals in 99 games starting behind the striker, and 59 goals in 155 games as the striker, historically, Dybala’s best role has been as a centre forward.
Last season, the versatile Argentine was played all over the field, but primarily as the striker, claiming 17 goals and teeing-up 14 more across the campaign.
In FIFA 21, Dybala comes in as the second-highest-rated player whose best position is CF, with all of his best attribute ratings leaning heavily on his attacking and technical ability.
Not one for physicality of defensive work, Dybala’s top ratings include his 94 ball control, 89 acceleration, 88 volleys, 92 agility, 91 dribbling, 84 finishing, and 88 free-kick accuracy.
