X-Factors are abilities that represent the skills and traits of real life NFL athletes. They can be triggered by meeting certain in-game conditions before players can activate these game-changing powers. Superstar abilities are inherent skills that players have the moment a game starts.

How many X-Factors can you have in Madden 23 on one team?
You can have as many X-Factors players on your team as you want, however, you can only have three players with active X-Factor abilities during a game.
Which Madden 23 team has the most X-Factors?
The Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Chargers all have four players each with X-Factor abilities. The Chargers have the highest number of players with X-Factor and Superstar abilities with 8 players having 26 abilities on the team.
How many X-Factors and Superstar abilities can you have in Madden 23?
In Face of the Franchise, your player can have one of three X-Factors. Once you unlock them, you can choose one of the three position-specific X-Factors presented to you. From there, the skill tree breaks down to three levels of Superstar abilities, again with three choices of which you can only choose one. This means you can have three equipped Superstar abilities of the nine available.
However, once you reach the gold level, you’ll unlock some additional abilities that are direct improvements to your attributes, again choosing one of three. Once you reach level 30, the max, you should reach 99 OVR and will also have a choice of three attribute-boosting abilities.
